Main Staircase in the Berkeley City Club –the site of the Julia Morgan 2012 Festival Gala, October 12

A formal Julia Morgan 2012 Festival launch event and fundraiser, the “Julia Morgan 2012 Festival Gala”, will be held on Friday, October 12th, at 6:30 p.m. at the Berkeley City Club. The Festival Gala will benefit the Landmark Heritage Foundation, the nonprofit association created to help preserve the Berkeley City Club – Julia Morgan’s “Little Castle.”  The building  was completed in 1929 for over 4,000 women club members.  Details here.
